Home Concreting

Concreters for Adelaide Homeowners

We don't just pour large commercial slabs. We look after homeowners across Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills too, with the same care and attention to detail.

From new driveways to patios, alfresco areas, pathways and pool surrounds, our residential jobs get proper sub-base preparation, correct reinforcement, and a clean, durable finish, just scaled to suit a home rather than a factory floor.

We deal with homeowners directly from the first phone call through to the final finish, with straightforward pricing, realistic timeframes, and a crew that turns up when they say they will.

Replacing a cracked or tired driveway? We remove the old concrete, prepare the ground properly, and pour a new surface built to last.

Finishes

Concrete Finishes for Your Home

The finish sets the look of your driveway or outdoor area. We'll talk through the options at the quote stage and help you pick one that suits your home and budget.

  1. Plain & Broom

Clean, practical concrete with a broomed texture for grip. The most cost-effective option.

  2. Exposed Aggregate

The surface is washed back to reveal the natural stone in the mix, giving a textured, hard-wearing finish. More on exposed aggregate →

  3. Coloured

Colour added to the concrete so your driveway or patio complements your home instead of plain grey.

  4. Stencilled

A patterned finish that gives the look of pavers, brick or stone with the strength of a single concrete slab.

  5. Honed

The surface is ground back to a smooth, refined finish that shows a cross-section of the stone. Popular for alfresco and pool areas.

Client Feedback

What Our Customers Say

“I worked with Darrin and Scott. They were professional, well priced and could start quicker than the other concreters. I went for the exposed aggregate look and couldn’t be happier with how my driveway turned out.”

FAQs

Residential Concreting FAQs

How much does a concrete driveway cost?

It depends on the size, whether old concrete needs removing, site access and excavation, the thickness and reinforcement required, and the finish you choose. Our driveway cost calculator gives you a ballpark figure, and we provide an accurate quote after a site visit.

Can you remove and replace my old concrete?

Yes. We remove old driveways, paths and slabs, prepare the ground properly, and pour a new surface in your choice of finish.

What concrete finishes do you offer?

We offer plain and broom finishes, exposed aggregate, coloured, stencilled and honed concrete. We'll help you choose one that suits your home and budget at the quote stage.

How long does a driveway take?

It depends on the size of the job and site conditions. Most driveway jobs run from a few days to two weeks from excavation to finished concrete, and we give you a clear schedule before work starts.

When can I walk and drive on new concrete?

Light foot traffic is typically possible within 24 to 48 hours. Vehicle access needs to wait until the concrete has reached adequate strength, which depends on the mix and curing conditions, and we give you guidance specific to your job.

Do you work in the Adelaide Hills?

Yes. We work throughout the Adelaide Hills, including Mount Barker, Stirling, Hahndorf and surrounding towns, as well as across metropolitan Adelaide.
